新台子邱台Xin Tai Zi Qiu Tai

Excavation year: 1993; total count: 1; hoard. According to the atlas, the site covers an area of about 9000 square meters. The cultural layer is 0.8-1 meter thick. Bronze Age stone axes, stone grinding rods, sand-tempered reddish-brown pottery double-handled jar sherds, and li-tripod legs were collected; also Warring States to Han-dynasty cord-marked red and gray pottery basin, jar, urn, and pot sherds, cord-marked roofing tiles, large numbers of knife coins and spade coins, and one horse-hoof-shaped gold ingot. 出土年份：1973；总数：15582；窖藏，1973年发现一批战国秦汉钱币，此处为战国到汉初一处大面积的村落遗址。1982年试掘发现大量战国陶片以及青铜剑，货币等，同时出土汉代的板瓦，瓦当，铁橛，铜代购等。1973年接到发现钱币的报告，辛占山和金泽实二人前去调查，了解到货币发现在新台子砖厂制坯车间，据发现者讲述，钱币分别装在两个灰陶罐里，一罐为刀币，一罐为布币及一化、半两。15582枚钱币中，燕国钱币有15123枚。存在两类安阳，一种类似燕国的束腰布币，一种为赵国的直腰安阳布币，但安阳字体均为赵国安阳，而非燕国陶阳。

Excavation year: 1973; total count: 15582; hoard. In 1973 a batch of Warring States to Qin-Han coins was discovered; this is a large-scale Warring States to early-Han village settlement site. A trial excavation in 1982 found large quantities of Warring States pottery sherds as well as bronze swords and coins; Han-dynasty flat and semi-cylindrical roofing tiles, eave tiles, iron pins, and bronze fittings were also unearthed at the same time. In 1973, upon receiving a report of the coin find, Xin Zhanshan and Jin Zeshi went to investigate and learned that the coins had been found at the pug-mill workshop of the Xintaizi brick factory; according to the discoverer's account, the coins were contained separately in two gray pottery jars, one jar of knife coins, and one jar of spade coins together with Yihua and Banliang coins. Of the 15,582 coins, 15,123 were Yan-state coins. There are two types of "Anyang" spade coins present, one resembling the waisted spade coins of the Yan state, and the other the straight-waisted Anyang spade coins of the Zhao state; however, the character forms for "Anyang" on both are consistently in the Zhao-state style, rather than the Yan-state "Taoyang" style.
