阳曲城定位在晋昌镇。根据《文物地图集》，城址今日犹在，平面呈方形。现南墙、西墙、北墙部分残存， 总长约1000多米，残高1~6米。墙体夯筑，夯层厚 0.09~0.12米。采集有泥质灰陶盆及绳纹板瓦等残片。
Yangqu is located in Jinchang town, Dingxiang County. According to the Altas, the city wall is still on the ground. The plan is square, and the south, west, and north walls are still preserved. The remaining height of the city wall ranges from 1 to 6 meters. The wall was constructed with rammed earth, with rammed layers measuring 0.09–0.12 meters thick. Fragments of gray pottery shards and cord-marked tiles were collected.
