Description
战国为魏国高都，汉代为高都县，因袭至隋代，改为泽州。高都位置在今泽州县高都镇附近。根据文物地图集、今天高都镇和附近的北义城镇附近有大量从新石器至汉代遗址，包括保付村、秦庄、北焦庄、大南社等遗址。其中大南社遗址面积达24万平方米，包含西周、东周遗存，可能即是高都故城所在。
