王城东北角Wangcheng Dongbei Jiao (Northeast Corner of the Royal City)

窖藏，洛阳西工区某工厂挖沟时候发现一个装满空首布的陶罐，洛阳市文物工作队闻讯赶往发掘，在原地开挖长5米，宽3.5米的南北向糖藕，结果在一号罐东部偏北同一地层发现了另一罐空首布，相距2米。两个陶罐一共有空首布1883枚，基本保存完好。布币銎向外，环形重叠排列。陶罐埋藏在战国晚期的第四层之下，打破第五层，埋藏年代不会晚于战国晚期。

Hoard. While digging a ditch at a factory in the Xigong District of Luoyang, workers discovered a pottery jar full of hollow-handled spade coins. The Luoyang Cultural Relics Work Team rushed to the scene to excavate, opening a north-south trench 5 m long and 3.5 m wide at the original spot; as a result, another jar of hollow-handled spade coins was found in the same stratum, slightly north of and east of Jar No. 1, about 2 m away. The two jars together contained 1,883 hollow-handled spade coins, largely intact. The coins' sockets faced outward, stacked in overlapping rings. The jars were buried beneath the fourth stratum of the late Warring States period, cutting into the fifth stratum, so the burial date is no later than the late Warring States period.
