State: 不明Unknown
Original table row No.: 154; Excavation year: 1983; Location remark: Uncertain; when local people level fields here, besides pottery moulds, they often find fragmentary Chengbai knife-coin stone moulds, ground from bluestone. The southwest part of the site has repeatedly yielded bundled knife coins totaling several hundred jin, always found within coin pits; four types of knife coins were unearthed in all, mostly straight-back Chengbai coins, with a smaller number of Yan-state curved-back knives, and fewer still of the Handan and Baihua types. Pottery moulds and stone moulds occur together. P. 75.

Wuhao Zuofang (E5T9) Wuhao Zuofang D3 Excavation Unit
Code: HEB_0041_CTX003
State: 灰坑Pit
Original table row No.: 159; Original total count: 8; Location remark: Ash pit. East of the house foundation, a bronze-smelting furnace, a casting pit, and a stone-working area were cleared. In a rectangular pit to the west, three pottery weng urns were buried, containing six spade-coin moulds and two knife-coin moulds, folded/stacked together. Within the pit, opposite crucible fragments, were fragments of the two mould types described above, discarded after use, numbering several dozen pieces in all. The casting furnace was simply the original pit dug into the ground, with a circular furnace body; to the south a rectangular pouring pit was distributed. The stone moulds are not practical moulds — the knife-coin cavity is too deep and the spade-coin cavity too shallow, with only one mould face each — they appear to have been carved casually by a stoneworker. No coin resembling these moulds, nor any of these moulds' products, was found at the site. P. 85.
