文城乡同乐村Wenchengxiang Tonglecun

发现时间：1996；不明，遗址面积约100万平方米，文化层 厚约1.5米。可大致分为西部的城址和东部的墓群两部 分。城址平面呈椭圆形，长径约450米，短径约400米。 墓群地表及断崖上暴露大量土坑竖穴墓及木炭灰、人骨 等。采集有泥质灰陶和夹砂灰陶片，其纹饰有绳纹，器形 有鬲、盆和豆等。早年曾出土过铜鼎、舟及布币等。据《左 传》、《史记》诸书记载，为重耳避难之所，亦即其母大戎 狐姬之狄城。重耳即晋文公，故该地后人称文公城或文 城。

Discovery year: 1996. Unclear. The site covers approximately 1,000,000 sq m, with a cultural layer about 1.5 m thick. It can be roughly divided into a walled city area in the west and a tomb cluster in the east. The city site is oval in plan, about 450 m along its long axis and 400 m along its short axis. On the surface and cliff faces of the tomb cluster, numerous vertical earthen-pit tombs are exposed, along with charcoal ash and human bones. Fragments of fine and sand-tempered gray ware have been collected, decorated with cord marks, in vessel forms including li tripods, basins, and dou stemmed dishes. Bronze ding tripods, zhou vessels, and spade coins were unearthed here in earlier years. According to the Zuo Zhuan and Shiji, this was the refuge of Chong'er (later Duke Wen of Jin) -- the Di-state settlement of his mother, Lady Hu Ji of the Great Rong. As Chong'er became Duke Wen of Jin, later generations called this place Wengong Cheng ('Duke Wen's City') or Wencheng.
