Description
不明，同治庚午，榮河古鎛出土，此布纍纍盈器，一貨二貨，皆數百枚。面文背文並與譜同，而無倒書及背文充字者。可知倒書或由工匠戲為，而前人信為舜禹故物者，亦實所見不多，有意珍奇也。
Unclear. In the gengwu year of the Tongzhi reign (1870), ancient bo bells were unearthed at Ronghe, along with spade coins filling vessels to overflowing -- one or two hundred at a time, numbering in the hundreds overall. The obverse and reverse inscriptions matched published catalogues, without inverted characters or reverse "chong" characters. This suggests the inverted-script specimens may have been playful variants made by artisans; earlier scholars who believed these to be genuine relics of Shun and Yu had in fact seen few examples, and prized them as curiosities.
