Excavation year: 1984; hoard. In 1984, a resident of Lingshan Subdistrict, Lishan District, Anshan, while digging soil near Zaishuiloutzu, found more than 10 Warring States spade coins mixed with round coins, most of them damaged. The spade coins unearthed were of two kinds: one was the pointed-foot, straight-head Pingzhou/Dayang spade coins of the Warring States Zhao state, the other was the square-foot small flat-head spade coins, mostly Yan-state Xiangping spade coins. Page 104 of the Anshan Museum catalogue has a photograph with an accompanying caption listing Yan Yuyang spade coins, Xiangping spade coins, Yangping spade coins, and pointed-foot spade coins, of which "Yuyang" should actually be "Anyang," and "Yangping" upon inspection is actually "Cha’yin."
