西溪花园Xixi Huayuan (West Creek Garden)

不明，战国水井、汉代排水管道、唐代砖室墓……2月20日，记者从市文物考古研究所获悉，历经3个多月的研究，由省市考古研究机构共同进行的“2016年西溪花园考古发掘”取得阶段性成果，发现战国、汉代、唐代和清代等时代的文化遗存，并出土大量文物。地下蕴含丰富文化层“这此考古挖掘是为了配合我市西溪花园小区建设工程而进行的抢救性发掘项目”。当日，据市文物考古研究所张珂介绍，西溪花园建设工程项目位于西城区阴阳赵镇古城村西，太白山路与芙蓉江东路交汇处西南角，向东126米是省级文物保护单位漯河“古城遗址”的西城墙。发掘地点主要位于遗迹较丰富的基建区东北部和西北部。2016年6月至11月，省市考古研究机构共同主持此次挖掘。该项目考古队队长——省文物考古研究院马俊才研究员告诉记者，此次完成发掘面积2000平方米。经现场考古发现，该地块均存在较厚的文化层，上有现代耕扰土层和一层洪水淤积层，其中东部探方区分布有隋唐层、汉代层2层文化层，西部探方区分布有隋唐层、汉代层、战国层3层文化层。出土文物丰富据马俊才介绍，上述文化层厚达2.5米，考古人员共清理战国灰坑55个、水井3眼、灰沟4条；汉代灰坑62个、粮仓1座、水井3眼、灰沟2条、小型地面房址2座、磨坊遗址1处、残夯基1处、小型土坑墓1座；唐代灰坑61个，小型砖室墓4座，土坑墓3座；清代墓1座。其中以战国水井、汉代磨坊遗址和排水管道、汉代残夯基、富含瓷片的唐代灰坑的发现较为重要。此外，此次考古出土文化遗物十分丰富，初步统计，共有罐、盆、豆、盂、钵、碗、瓮等陶器102件，陶片约2500包；碗、盆、罐等瓷器35件；镜、刀、簪等铜器17件；方足布、桥足布、蚁鼻钱、五铢钱、通宝钱等铜钱币200余枚；银戒指4枚；剑、铲、环等铁器6件，玉饼玉环2件；骨簪4件。为郾城故城研究提供实物资料

Unclear. Warring States-period water wells, Han-dynasty drainage pipes, Tang-dynasty brick-chamber tombs... On February 20, a reporter learned from the Municipal Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology that, after more than three months of research, the "2016 Xixi Huayuan Archaeological Excavation," jointly conducted by provincial and municipal archaeological institutions, had achieved phased results, uncovering cultural remains from the Warring States, Han, Tang, and Qing periods, along with a large number of artifacts. The subsurface contains rich cultural layers. This excavation was a rescue project carried out to accommodate construction of the Xixi Huayuan residential complex in the city. That day, Zhang Ke of the Municipal Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology explained that the Xixi Huayuan construction project is located west of Gucheng Village, Yinyangzhao Town, in the western urban district, at the southwest corner of the intersection of Taibaishan Road and Furongjiang East Road; 126 meters to the east lies the western city wall of the provincially protected "Ancient City Site" of Luohe. The excavation was mainly concentrated in the northeastern and northwestern parts of the construction area, where remains were more abundant. From June to November 2016, provincial and municipal archaeological institutions jointly directed the excavation. Ma Juncai, a research fellow at the Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology and head of the project's archaeological team, told the reporter that the excavation covered an area of 2,000 square meters. On-site investigation found that the plot contained relatively thick cultural layers throughout, overlaid by a modern plow-disturbed layer and a flood-silt layer; the eastern test-trench area contained two cultural layers, Sui-Tang and Han, while the western test-trench area contained three cultural layers, Sui-Tang, Han, and Warring States. Rich in unearthed artifacts, according to Ma Juncai the above cultural layers reach a thickness of 2.5 meters. Archaeologists cleared 55 Warring States-period ash pits, 3 wells, and 4 ash ditches; 62 Han-dynasty ash pits, 1 granary, 3 wells, 2 ash ditches, 2 small surface house foundations, 1 mill site, 1 remnant rammed-earth foundation, and 1 small pit burial; 61 Tang-dynasty ash pits, 4 small brick-chamber tombs, and 3 pit burials; and 1 Qing-dynasty tomb. Of particular importance were the discoveries of the Warring States-period wells, the Han-dynasty mill site and drainage pipes, the Han-dynasty remnant rammed-earth foundation, and the Tang-dynasty ash pits rich in porcelain sherds. In addition, the excavation yielded abundant cultural artifacts; preliminary statistics show 102 pottery vessels including jars, basins, dou-stemmed dishes, bowls (yu), bo-bowls, and urns, along with about 2,500 bags of pottery sherds; 35 porcelain items including bowls, basins, and jars; 17 bronze items including mirrors, knives, and hairpins; over 200 bronze coins including square-foot spade coins, bridge-foot spade coins, ant-nose coins, Wu Zhu coins, and Tong Bao coins; 4 silver rings; 6 iron items including swords, spades, and rings; 2 jade discs and jade rings; and 4 bone hairpins. This provides physical material for the study of the ancient city site of Yancheng.
