Description
地层，石邑城发现的战国货币种类繁多，三孔布出于地层，圆足布出于H21，方足布出于H26。刀币有明刀和直刀两类，明刀不包含折背类型。此外，遗址中还出土了数十块刀币范，石质或陶质，刀币范与赵国直刀类似，应当是用来生产直刀的。有的明显弧背的刀币范可能是用来生产明刀的。遗址年代为战国中晚期。
Stratigraphic layer. Warring States-period coins found at the Shiyi City site are of many types: three-hole spade coins came from the stratigraphic layer, round-foot spade coins from ash pit H21, and square-foot spade coins from ash pit H26. Knife coins comprise two categories, Ming knives and straight knives; the Ming knives do not include the bent-back type. In addition, the site yielded several dozen knife-coin mould fragments, of stone or pottery; the moulds resemble Zhao-state straight knives and were probably used to cast straight knives. Some moulds with a clearly convex back may have been used to cast Ming knives. The site dates to the middle-to-late Warring States period.
