On May 25, a reporter observed villagers at the riverbank east of Guju village digging up bronze objects suspected to be Warring States-period knife and spade coins, with about 20 pieces found within roughly half an hour. Local cultural-heritage authorities stated they would work with public-security departments to recover the suspected relics and have them authenticated. As this was not a formal archaeological excavation, the findspot, stratigraphic position, and nature of the objects all remain to be verified.
