周寨村Zhouzhai Village

文化层，第3层战国地层，东津乡周家油坊队农民在坪子西北挖鱼池时发现，郢爰出自距地表深约1.2米的池底瓦砾层中，布方6×5平方米编号86DJT；共出完整郢爰42块，其中有'郢爰'戳记者28块、无印记者10块，厚0.2-0.6厘米，块重256-272克；13块在一侧或背面有刻划符号；另有大量零碎散金伴出，与1979年门西出土的碎金相同；此次出土数量超过寿县历次出土的总和，为最多一次；含金量与1979年门西所出郢爰十分接近。 中国文物地图集安徽分册'周家油坊楚金币出土点'条（202-G7）：东津乡周蔡村周家油坊西北100米，战国，记发现日期为1986年3月13日（与本条依寿县博物馆原始简报所记'1986年2月13日'相差一月，存在日期分歧，两说并存待核）；农民挖鱼塘发现楚金币38块，其中'郢爰'印记金币28块、无印记金币10块（28+10=38，与本条'42块'总数不一致，atlas的38块与'28块有戳记+10块无印记'的分类小计完全吻合，本条'42'一数可能有误，建议以38为准），还有大量零碎散金，共重1万多克。

Cultural layer: layer 3, a Warring-States stratum. Found by farmers of the Zhoujia Youfang team, Dongjin Township, while digging a fish pond northwest of Pingzi; the Ying Yuan pieces came from a rubble layer at the bottom of the pond, about 1.2 m below the surface, in excavation grid 86DJT (6 x 5 sq m). 42 intact Ying Yuan pieces were recovered in total, of which 28 bear the "Ying Yuan" stamp and 10 are unstamped; they are 0.2-0.6 cm thick and weigh 256-272 g each. 13 pieces have incised marks on one side or the back. A large quantity of loose gold fragments was found together with them, matching the fragmentary gold recovered at Menxi in 1979. This find exceeds the combined total of every previous Shou County find and is the largest single recovery; its fineness is very close to that of the Ying Yuan found at Menxi in 1979. The "Zhoujia Youfang Chu Gold-Money Findspot" entry (202-G7) in the Atlas of Chinese Cultural Relics, Anhui Volume records: 100 m northwest of Zhoujia Youfang, Zhoucai Village, Dongjin Township; Warring States period; discovery date given as 13 March 1986 (one month later than the 13 February 1986 date recorded in this entry per the Shou County Museum's original excavation bulletin — the two dates disagree and both are preserved pending verification). Farmers digging a fish pond found 38 pieces of Chu gold money, comprising 28 pieces stamped "Ying Yuan" and 10 unstamped pieces (28 + 10 = 38, which does not match this entry's total of 42; the atlas's total of 38 agrees exactly with its own breakdown of "28 stamped + 10 unstamped," so this entry's figure of 42 may be in error — 38 is recommended as the more reliable count), plus a large quantity of loose gold fragments, weighing over 10,000 g in total.
