姚园Yaoyuan

不明，王圩乡姚园村，新石器时代、商周，俗称纣王城，位于城东湖东岸，面积约15万平方米，台高约2米，发现有大量的红烧土、草木灰，采集的遗物有陶片和残石斧、锛、刀、镞，商周陶片有夹砂红、灰、褐陶，泥质灰、红陶等，纹饰有绳纹、划纹、附加堆纹，器形有鬲、陶拍，另外还有蚁鼻钱、瓦当等，发现年份原文未注。

Context unknown. Yaoyuan Village, Wangwei Township; Neolithic and Shang-Zhou periods; popularly known as Zhouwang City. Located on the east bank of Chengdong Lake; about 150,000 sq m in area, standing about 2 m high as a mound. Large quantities of fire-reddened earth and plant ash have been found, along with pottery sherds and fragmentary stone axes, adzes, knives, and arrowheads. Shang-Zhou pottery sherds include sand-tempered red, gray, and brown wares and clay-paste gray and red wares, decorated with cord-marks, incised lines, and applied strips, in forms including li tripods and pottery paddles; ant-nose coins and tile-ends have also been found.
