Description
Context unknown; surface collection from a field survey, found together with bronze arrowheads. Discovered 100 m south of Li natural village, Shunhe administrative village, Licang Town, in the Qian River basin. The same site is also recorded under the "Zhongli Site" entry (8-A8) in the Atlas of Chinese Cultural Relics, Anhui Volume: 100 m south of Zhongli Village, Laoyingzi Village, Shunhe Township; Zhou dynasty; a county-level protected site popularly known as Ligudui; about 4,800 sq m in area and roughly 4 m high; finds include bronze arrowheads, ant-nose coins, and sandy gray-pottery sherds. (The township name differs slightly from the original record's "Shunhe administrative village, Licang Town," but the popular name Ligudui and the accompanying bronze arrowheads match closely, so this should be the same site.)
