Description
《水径·彘水注》，“又南入河东界。又南过永安县西。。故彘县也。周厉王流于彘，即此城也。王莽更名黄城。”《霍州志》“汉顺帝阳嘉三年，改曰永安县，霍伯之都也彘城，周厉王奔彘，即此。汉为彘县，在今城内西南隅。”李晓杰认为永安县城即是战国的彘。
Li Xiaojie identifies the Warring States city of Zhi with Yongan county seat in present-day Huozhou. Square-foot spade inscriptions sometimes read Zhiyi (彘邑), which refers to this same mint town.
