今山西阳曲县东北。《左传》昭公二十八年，“魏献子为政，分祁氏之田为七县….孟丙为盂大夫。杜预注，太原盂县。《元和郡县志》太原府：阳曲县“故盂城，汉盂县也，本春秋时晋大夫祁氏邑，在县东北八十里”。今人有定于阳曲县以北十五里大盂镇，暂从此说，存疑。（文献标题作“于”，即“盂”。）
According to the Zuozhuan, Mengbing was made high officer for Yu in the twenty-eighth year of Lord Zhao. Mengbing was made high officer for Yu.Yu is located on the northeast of Yangqu County阳曲县. Yuanhe juanxian tuzhi mentions that there is a city site located 80 li northeast of Yangqu County. Liu Weiyi mark the city site of the Yu County to present-day Dayu Town大盂镇. (Document heading: 于, i.e. Yu (盂).)
