Description

即圁阳。戈有圁阳銘文者,根据陕北出土东汉画像石,圁阳大致分布在绥德五里店、四十里铺、中角乡一带。目前还没有报道的城址。出土画像石有出土于中角乡白家山的“西河圁阳张文卿永元十六年十月造万岁堂”、出土于四十里铺的“西河太守掾圁阳榆里田文成万岁室延平元年十月十七日塟”、出土于五里店的“圁阳西乡榆里郭稚文万岁室宅。”(文献标题作“言阳”,即“圁阳”。)

Yanyang is the yinyang county in the Han dynasty. Based on the inscriptions on the Han pictorial stones, the location of the Yinyang county is roughly around Wulipu, Sishilipu, and Zhongjiaoxiang, but there is no city site that has been reported. The pictorial stones discovered in Baijiashan Village, Zhongjiao town, has the inscription, Zhang Wenqing of Yinyang, Xihe, constructed the Wansui Tomb-Chamber in the tenth month of the sixteenth year of the Yongyuan reign [104 CE]. The pictorial stone discovered in Sishilipu has inscription, Tian Wencheng of Yuli, Yinyang, Xihe, an aide to the Grand Administrator of Xihe, was buried in the Wansui shi (‘Chamber of Ten Thousand Years,’ i.e. the tomb chamber) on the seventeenth day of the tenth month in the first year of Yanping [106 CE]. The one from Wulidian has inscription, The Wansui shi zhai (‘Chamber-Dwelling of Ten Thousand Years,’ i.e. the tomb chamber) of Guo Zhiwen of Yuli, Western Township, Yinyang.” (Document heading: 言阳, i.e. Yinyang (圁阳).)
