Description

(文献标题作“冠阳”,即“原阳”。)

Huang Xiquan transcribed it into clerical script as Guanyang according to the form of the character guan found in Baoshan Bamboo Slips nos. 156, 219, and others. Guanyang is pronounced "yuanyang" and is located southeast of present-day Hohhot. Li Yiyou proposed that Yuanyang is located in Jinhe Town, Babai Village. Archaeologists found the city and numerous remains from the Warring States to the Western Han periods(Y. Li 1992, 70). (Document heading: 冠阳, i.e. Yuanyang (原阳).)
