The location of the site remains unknown. He Linyi read the inscription in reverse order as Yinan, identifying it with a place southeast of present-day Nanle County. However, the Jilin Provincial Museum has in its collection a ge dagger-axe bearing the inscription “Anyin county official, seventh year” (qi nian Anyin xian guan). This suggests that Anyin was already used as a county name during the Warring States period, and therefore there is no need to read the coin inscription in reverse order.
